HHH Fellowship

Introduction

The HHH Fellowship program is an initiative supported by TATA Trusts. The program on boards committed volunteers who work as Fellows and deploys them at our partner centres for a duration of 8 months. During this time, the Fellows’ primary responsibility  is to work as Trainers delivering the HHH Transformative Program to the rural youth.
The HHH Fellowship program provides the rural, corporate and international youth an opportunity to become certified Trainers, and transform the illiterate rural youth into capable workers. The HHH Fellows also gain diverse exposure and experience to grassroots realities in rural India, and can hone and develop leadership qualities that can drive their personal and professional growth.

Types of Fellows

  • Energetic and passionate individuals who want to contribute and learn at the same time
  • Not in need of an immediate job for survival
  • Aged between 18-30 Years, both male & female
  • Basic skills in written and spoken English
  • Good at logic and maths
  • Exhibited some level of leadership skills
  • Energetic and passionate individuals who want to make an impact in society for a good cause
  • Interested in adding diversity to their CV or college application
  • Corporate professionals with 1+ years of work experience
  • Aged between 21-30 Years, both male & female
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Good at logic and maths
  • Exhibited leadership skills
  • Looking to further their career aspirations in either a management role or in the social sector
  • Energetic and passionate individuals who want to make an impact in the world for a good cause
  • Looking to experience India and its culture first hand
  • Needs 1 year of work experience in India to complete graduation
  • Interested in adding diversity to their college application or CV
  • Aged between 18-30 Years, both male & female
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Good at logic and maths
  • Demonstrated leadership initiative
  • Looking to further their career aspirations in either a management role or in the social sector

Fellowship Model

Phase 1 – Pre-Fellowship

Upon receiving your filled application form, we will conduct a telephone/Skype interview. Upon completion, a written test will be carried out to assess your communication, reasoning and logic, math and computer skills.

Based on the results from your interview, you will be notified if you have been selected for the program. Once you are selected, a Fellowship Program information sheet will be sent to you which includes:

 

• Program start date
• Preparations (if necessary)
• Arrival time in Tumkur
• Food and Accommodation
• Terms and Conditions

Phase 2 – During the Fellowship

The Fellowship program begins with a 1 month ‘Setu Program’ at the HHH Academy in Tumkur, Karnataka. This program is used to bridge the knowledge gap for the new fellows until they commence the Train the Trainer (T3) program. During this month long program, fellows are trained to:

 

  • Develop LSRW (listening, speaking, reading, writing) skills
  • Develop computer skills
  • Develop overall personality
  • Alter and evolve their beliefs

HHH Fellows will undergo a 1 month long ‘Train the Trainer’ (T3) program at the HHH Academy in Tumkur, Karnataka. The Academy also has a Centre of Excellence and a showcase batch of students. During the T3 program, fellows are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to become an effective Trainer. The program facilitates

 

  • Experience and Learning – Fellows understand and develop the skills to deliver content as per the curriculum and training methodologies
  • Practice and Evaluation – Through mock sessions, feedback, and individual trainer coaching

Upon completion of the T3 program, fellows will be capable of delivering the HHH Transformative Training program and conduct training for a live batch.

Upon completion of the T3 program, fellows will be placed at one of our partner centres for 8 months to deliver the Transformative Training program to a batch of 30 rural youth.

Phase 3 – Post Fellowship

On completion of the Fellowship program, Fellows will receive a Fellowship certificate accredited by TATA Trusts during their graduation.

Fellows are enrolled in the HHH Alumni network which allows for great networking opportunities with other Fellows. The Fellowship program envisions a Chapter based model to ensure sustainability of the program. Chapter members include a cohort of Fellows who will promote their Fellowship experience and offer support in recruiting, managing and empowering potential Fellows.
